HI! My name is Rachel Re. I live in New York (not the city). I live about thirty minuets north and west of the city in a cozy place called Wesley Hills. I was born in New York hospital with my twin on May 6, 1994. My twin is my only sibling. His name is Eli. My mom is a corporate lawyer and my dad runs a karate school. My father, my brother and I are all black belts. I am a girl scout and a sea scout (coed boy scouting).
My favorite place to be is under water or on top of mountains. I love to scuba dive and have dove in Eilat, Taba, and the Delaware River. Last summer I went scuba diving for eleven miles in the Delaware River, picking up trash as part of a cleanup of the river.
Last summer I went on a ten day trek in New Mexico. Thirteen people, including my dad, my brother and me, backpacked (like hiking but with a forty pound pack on) to an elevation of 11,758 ft above sea level. From that point, we could see Kansas. This summer I am going back to New Mexico for an eight-day, horseback riding trip.
My third favorite place to be is in camp. I go to a Girl Scout camp called Camp Addison Boyce or CAB. I have gone to CAB since first grade. Last year I was a CIT (Counselor In Training) there. This year I hope to work at the pool as a lifeguard.
I love to read and my favorite authors are J.K. Rowling, Tamora Pierce (Her Tortall series is the greatest) and Stephanie Meyer (What the books have a happy ending ok?!?). My favorite songs are by Taylor Swift (You Belong With Me and Our Song). I also love Fireflies by Owl City and all of Sara Bareilles' songs.

I want to be an engineer and make things that go boom. (guns and helicopters) Math and chemistry are my two favorite subjects.
